When chasing has failed
but legal spend is premature.

No recovery, no fee. Vindox screens first. If it is suitable and the client instructs, recovery runs on a no recovery, no fee basis.

You see the overdue balance before the client goes looking for recovery. When reminders stop working, Vindox gives you a controlled route to suggest. We recover the invoice and build a court-ready file behind the matter, so the client is left ready if it has to go further.

When to refer

One test does most of the work.

Has ordinary chasing failed, is the debt evidenced, is the debtor an active UK limited company or LLP and is the client not ready to spend legal money yet? If yes, the matter is worth screening.

You do not have to judge the whole case. If the test fits, send it and Vindox screens the detail. If it does not fit, it is not a Vindox matter.

The screen

What to send, and what to keep.

Good fit

  • The client is a business owed money by another business.
  • The debtor is a UK limited company or LLP, active and trading.
  • The invoice is commercial and arose from goods or services.
  • The amount is at least £5,000, with £10,000 and above preferred.
  • The work is complete or the milestone has been reached.
  • There is a contract, purchase order, statement of work, acceptance or a clear email trail.
  • Ordinary chasing has failed and no proceedings have been issued.

Do not send

  • Consumer debt, personal debt or a sole-trader debtor.
  • An unincorporated debtor or personal guarantee enforcement.
  • Fraud allegations or insolvency routes.
  • Statutory-demand or winding-up pressure matters.
  • A matter already in proceedings.
  • A matter where legal advice is the immediate need.
  • A live substantive dispute that needs legal advice first.
Scope for advisers

What Vindox does, and where it stops.

Vindox recovers overdue business invoices in England and Wales. The work is forensic and evidence-led. We push for payment and build the court-ready file behind the matter: chronology, evidence index, invoice schedule, correspondence log, missed-promise record and outcome record.

Vindox does not give legal advice. Vindox does not litigate, issue proceedings or enforce. Those are carried out by a solicitor or a High Court Enforcement Officer. If the debtor pays, the client gets paid. If the matter does not resolve, the client is left with a file rather than another failed chase.

How the introduction works

A clean introduction is enough.

The client should know why they are being introduced and should consent before any documents are sent. Vindox screens the matter first. If it is not suitable, it is declined or referred back. If it is suitable and the client instructs, recovery runs on a no recovery, no fee basis.

On fees. This is a professional-introduction route. We do not set out referral-fee terms on this page. If you want to discuss a referral arrangement, talk to us and we will put the terms in writing with the proper client-disclosure wording.

On client data. Please do not send client documents without the client's permission. A short introduction and the basic invoice position are enough to start.

However you work with the client

Where Vindox fits your role.

Accountant or bookkeeper

You see the debtor balance before the client searches for recovery. When reminders are failing, Vindox is a controlled route to suggest before the client writes the debt off or spends legal money on a thin file.

Fractional or outsourced finance

You know when the chase has lost rhythm. Vindox takes the failed chase off the finance lead's desk, applies a documented recovery process and builds the file behind the matter.

Commercial solicitor

Some clients come to legal too early, with a recoverable invoice and a thin file. Vindox runs the pre-legal recovery step first. If it does not resolve, you receive a better file.

Credit-control consultant

Vindox sits after routine credit control, not instead of it. When reminders and calls have failed, Vindox is a documented recovery route before legal spend.
